You’ve booked the hall because it was available, not because the walls were nice, and now the booth needs something behind it. That is where most of these New Tecumseth enquiries actually start, and it is a better starting point than a colour chart. Photo booth backdrops come in eleven published options across three materials, and the constraint worth knowing before you choose is that the price of a colour depends on which booth you book, not on which colour you like. Two of the booth pages publish a choice of premium colour with the rental. Two publish a custom charge measured against gold and rose gold sequin. What follows is the whole published range, which booths charge for a change, and the three things about a New Tecumseth room that should settle the colour.

What the New Tecumseth Backdrop Range Is

Three materials, eleven options, and every New Tecumseth booking chooses from the same list.

The page publishes six sequin colours, being gold, silver, rose gold, red, blue and purple; two velvets in black and white; and three vinyls described as sparkler, wood and marble. That is the whole published range, and each material behaves differently once it’s up, which is what we go on.

SequinGold, silver, rose gold, red, blue, purpleCatches light, so it lifts a dim New Tecumseth hall
VelvetBlack, whiteAbsorbs light, so it flattens a busy room
VinylSparkler, wood, marbleCarries a pattern, so it replaces a wall rather than covering it

Route 905 Foto’s backdrops page sets out a comparable range, which is worth a look for how the same three materials photograph.

The Booth, Not the Colour, Sets the Charge

Four booth pages, and they don’t all say the same thing.

The 360 video booth rental page publishes a custom coloured backdrop at $50 other than gold or rose gold sequin, and the pod’s page publishes the same arrangement at its own rate. The open air and enclosed pages are written differently: both publish a choice of premium backdrop colour with the rental and name no surcharge. So the question is which booth you’re booking, and on two of the four a colour outside gold and rose gold sequin is a decision with a figure attached.

That is not a reason to take gold. It is a reason to know what you are choosing between, because a New Tecumseth hall with warm lighting and cream walls does something specific to a gold sequin backdrop, and if the answer is that it disappears, the change is worth paying for.

What the New Tecumseth Room Decides About a Backdrop

Three things to look at, and all three are on the wall behind the booth.

How dark the corner is. Sequin is the material that gives light back, so a dim New Tecumseth community hall is where it earns its place. In a bright room it turns busy rather than bright.

What colour the wall already is. A gold backdrop against a cream wall in warm light is three versions of the same tone. Black velvet against the same wall is a clean separation, and that is the one case where defaulting to sequin is the wrong call.

Whether anything patterned is in shot. Vinyl carries its own pattern, so a wood or marble vinyl in a room that already has a feature wall gives you two patterns fighting.

The open air booth’s page publishes something worth having here too: the backdrop stand is strong, sturdy and flat-based to avoid accidental trips, which matters in a New Tecumseth hall where the booth ends up near a walkway.

Backdrops at Bradford and Barrie Events

The same eleven a New Tecumseth booking draws from, and these rooms point at different ones.

Bradford bookings run to community halls and banquet rooms with plain painted walls, where sequin does its best work because there is nothing to compete with. Barrie work brings more hotel and function space with patterned carpet and feature walls already, and there the velvets are the ones we send most.

360 Booth Rental’s 360 video booth page is worth seeing if you are choosing that format, since the inflatable enclosure published at $199 changes the backdrop question entirely by bringing its own surround.

New Tecumseth Backdrop Questions

Six questions, and the first two settle the cost.

Does a New Tecumseth booking include the backdrop colour?

That depends on the booth. The open air and enclosed pages both publish a choice of premium backdrop colour with the rental. The 360 booth and pod pages publish a custom charge for anything other than gold or rose gold sequin. So the same colour can come with the booking or carry a fee, depending on the format. Ask us for your booth and date and we’ll tell you exactly what applies.

What does a different colour cost?

The 360 booth’s page publishes one figure for a custom coloured backdrop other than gold or rose gold sequin, and the pod publishes its own rate for the same thing. So the figure depends on the booth rather than on the colour you pick. Tell us the format you want and the colour and you’ll get one number.

Which backdrop suits a dark Bradford hall?

Sequin, and that is close to the whole answer. It is the material that returns light rather than absorbing it, so a dim room gets brighter photographs without anybody adding a lamp. If the hall is dark and the walls are cream, silver or blue sequin separates better than gold does.

When would you use velvet instead?

When the room is already busy or already bright. Black velvet gives you a clean, absorbing background that takes a patterned New Tecumseth wall out of the photograph entirely, and white velvet does the same job where the room is dark and you want soft rather than sparkling. Both are quieter than sequin and that is the point.

Can we use a vinyl backdrop for a Barrie corporate evening?

You can, and the thing to check is whether anything else in shot is patterned. Sparkler, wood and marble vinyls each carry their own texture, which is excellent against a plain wall and a competition against a feature one. Send a photograph of the spot and we’ll say which of the three suits it.

Does the 360 booth use the same backdrops?

It can, and it also has its own option: the backdrops page publishes an inflatable booth for the 360 at its own figure, which surrounds the platform rather than standing behind it. That is a different proposition from a backdrop and it solves a different problem, so it is worth deciding which of the two you actually want.

Photograph the Wall You Have

One picture, taken from where the camera goes, and eleven options become one.

Stand where the booth will be, photograph the wall behind it with the room’s own lights on, and send it with your New Tecumseth date. We’ll tell you which material suits the wall, and whether the colour that comes with your booth works in that room or whether a change is worth its published figure. The New Tecumseth photo booth rental hub has the formats they attach to.
